Scott Bruzek is a strategy & operations professional who serving as as a Commercial Marketing Agent and Business Analyst for Jessie Insurance Agency.
Scott is a native of the Chicago area, beginning his career in management information systems and live event industry roles, working both in the non-profit and for profit sectors, over the last 10 years.
In his current role, Scott markets and re-markets commercial lines insurance accounts, to provide the highest level of coverage and lowest premium to the businesses the agency serve. Additionally, he serves as a senior adviser and business analyst for the agency. In this capacity, he identifies and provides solutions for organizational inefficiencies, evaluates opportunities for revenue growth/cost savings, and optimizes business processes across the organization. At the current time, he is overseeing the agency’s digital modernization efforts to include: evaluation of its overall technology stack; implementation of secure, HIPAA compliant, cloud-based databases and systems; client-focused self-service tools; and management systems to improve the accountability and profitability of the agency.
Outside of Jessie Insurance, Scott currently serves as an adviser to the Kentuckiana Coalition for Heroes, a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to meeting two of the greatest changes facing military veterans today, employment and fulfilling mental and physical well-being.

Manage the planning and execution of course operations for bi-monthly running events in the national Hot Chocolate 15/5k race series and Chicagoland RAM series.
Interface with vendors and governmental agencies to plan and execute race logistics, including event permitting across multiple jurisdictions.
Coordinate efforts with 200 plus event staff, volunteers, and group leaders for each race.
Oversee the execution of community outreach efforts to inform community members of road closures, noise disturbances, and other event impacts.
Draft medical and emergency plans in coordination with Race Director, Medical Director, and local Emergency Management agencies.
